Mystery Science Theater 3000, often abbreviated MST3K, is an American cult television comedy series created by Joel Hodgson and produced by Best Brains, Inc. that ran from 1988 to 1999.
It features a man and his robot sidekicks who are trapped on a satellite in space and forced to watch a selection of terrible movies, especially (but not limited to) those of the science fiction genre. I didn't watch this show very much when it was actually on air, but recently I've been really enjoying it. I found a bunch of episodes on Google Video and can't get enough.
